Banx Engineering LLC was founded on a strong professional engineering and management track record: 18+ years of proven results across ammunition, defense, automotive, power generation, battery storage and digital technology. We've worked in facilities over 100 years old and with emerging technology start-ups.

Our journey so far

  1. 2003–2017

    Corporate foundation

    Built engineering, leadership and management experience at ATK, Corning and General Electric, from electrical engineering and systems to maintenance, facilities management and Brilliant Factory leadership.

  2. 2017–2019

    Entrepreneur journey

    Based in New York, Mr. Banks co-founded a NYS-certified general construction and consulting company serving the capital region.

  3. 2020

    Banx Engineering founded

    While transitioning from New York, Mr. Banks began engineering consulting work out of a new Maryland office. Banx Engineering LLC was officially formed in 2020.

  4. 2020

    Partnership with Hi-Power

    Banx began supporting Hi-Power, a JV battery storage manufacturing operation based in Pennsylvania.

  5. 2020

    Expansion

    Banx established partnerships with suppliers across computing, machine connectivity and maintenance management. The Hi-Power partnership continued through the expansion of EOS Energy Storage.

  6. 2020–2023

    Remote expansion

    Banx implemented remote support and consulting during the pandemic to keep serving clients.

  7. 2023–Present

    Shift to software and hardware

    Banx Engineering shifted its focus toward software development and hardware.
